The Galaxy S7 is one of 2016’s most anticipated flagship phones. It combines the Galaxy S6’s beautiful design with the S5’s functional waterproofing and MicroSD support. The Exynos 8890 (or Snapdragon 820) processor, 4GB of RAM and Android 6 Marshmallow makes the S7 a veritable beast of a phone!
Let’s run through some of the specs this S7. This UK model features the octa-core Exynos 8890, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. It keeps the same 5.1” Quad-HD display as the Galaxy S6. It is a little heavier though at 152g and a bit thicker at 7.9mm, but still a very compact and easy to use one-handed. The rear camera is 12 megapixels, down from 16 on the S6 but the S7 has much larger pixels and a wider F/1.7 aperture so the camera should be fantastic for low-light photos and videos.
The battery size has been increased to 3000mAH which, combined with Android 6 Marshmallow, should mean the S7 has a fantastic battery life. I’ll definitely be testing this in my full review.
